2014 - PhD Cardiac Physiology, University of Bristol
2010 - BSc in Physiology with Year in Industry, Cardiff University
Dr Gadeberg has a background in Physiology, specializing in Cardiac Physiology. Most recently she has been working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Bristol. Her postdoctoral work, investigating Ca influx and efflux pathways and the balance between them in ventricular cardiomyocytes, has drawn from her PhD work investigating the Ca handling properties of atrial cardiomyocytes. She has experience with molecular biology and high-throughput drug discovery from her work at GlaxoSmithKline during her Year in Industry, producing and validating functional expression of a ligand gated ion channel in a stable cell line. Her electrophysiology background stems from undergraduate work she performed in the lab at Cardiff University.
Dr Gadeberg has presented her work at many international conferences, including the International Union of Physiological Society and Biophysical Society conferences. She has published several papers in journals such as the American Journal of Physiology and the British Journal of Pharmacology. Dr Gadeberg joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2017.
