Dr Abramovitz has over 25 years of scientific research experience as both a scientist and as a project manager. After conducting research in the Departments of Immunology & Rheumatology at the Sainte-Justine Hospital Research Centre in Montreal, he moved to the Departments of Pathology and Oncology at the Jewish General Hospital/Segal Cancer Centre. There, in addition to his research, Dr Abramovitz was a Strategic Project Manager involved in the planning and design of a new Molecular Pathology Centre. He was also the Global Project Manager overseeing translational breast cancer initiatives in Roche-initiated clinical trials and has extensive knowledge of the drug discovery and development process. Dr Abramovitz has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work as various conferences. He now brings his extensive experience in research and writing to Edanz, where he has been an editor since 2013.
