Ms Oberding has over 15 years of experience working in the fields of medical and environmental microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, and synthetic biology. She has been involved in both the academic and industrial sector, having co-founded and directed a biosensor development company (FREDsense Technologies) where she was Head of Biological Development and Manufacturing. She has presented at numerous international conferences, and she has won numerous business plan competitions and pitches for her synthetic biology start-up company.
