    Academic Background

    Dr Longworth-Mills trained in the fields of anatomy and cell biology, with her doctoral research investigating strategies for inner ear sensory cell induction in a three-dimensional human stem cell culture model. As a PhD researcher, Dr Longworth-Mills regularly served on grant review committees for internal awards, and she completed courses in scientific communication and grant-writing. She is knowledgeable in the areas of cell biology, stem cell biology, otolaryngology, human anatomy, physiology, developmental biology, neuroanatomy, neuroscience, and cell culture models.

    Publishing History

    Dr Longworth-Mills has published in Methods of Molecular Biology (first author) and Nature Biotechnology (co-author). She has presented at the Association for Otolaryngology Midwinter Meeting, and internationally at the Molecular Biology of Hearing and Deafness Meeting.

    Editing and Reviewing Experience
