On 9 June 2017, Dr Trevor Lane (Education Director and Senior Publishing Consultant of Edanz Group) led a manuscript writing workshop in Hong Kong, China, on behalf of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (HKAM).
On 8 April 2017, Dr Daniel McGowan (Science Director and Head of Medical Writing at Edanz Group) led a two-hour workshop in publishing for 100 breast cancer specialists in Aqua Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan.
In March 2017, Edanz Group (known as Liwenbianji in China) organized a spring seminar tour in China for early-career researchers, focusing on the Beijing area.
On 21 March 2017, Dr Andrew Jackson (Senior Editor at Edanz Group) was invited to give a one-day medical publishing workshop at a writing retreat in Pattaya, near Bangkok, Thailand. The audience consisted of more than 120 health care professionals and researchers from the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
On 17 March 2017, Dr Andrew Jackson (Senior Editor) and Ms Ayli Chong (Editor and Project Coordinator) from Edanz Group conducted a one-day training session for PhD students and early-career researchers in English presentation skills.
By popular demand, Edanz Group was invited back to Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan, in March 2017 to conduct individual consultations to help researchers improve their manuscript writing.
