Overview:
Edanz is looking for an experienced e-learning course designer and education program manager to devise, develop and run its online learning program.
The Manager will use learning theory and technical knowledge to create an educational experience for ESL researchers that successfully guides them through core areas of the research and publishing process:
- conducting high impact research
- obtaining grants
- writing articles
- publication process
- peer review
- research and publication ethics
Responsibilities:
- Assessment of ESL author needs and learning styles
- Definition of learning objectives
- Curriculum design
- Management of creation of content materials
- Evaluation of curriculum effectiveness
- Work closely with colleagues, managers and other educators to identify needs throughout the course design process
Requirements:
- Three to five years of course design experience with a focus on Higher Education skills
- Experience with various learning management system software
- Multi-lingual (English and Japanese or Chinese) an advantage
- Master's degree in curriculum or instructional design, an advantage
